Our seasoned staff of claims adjusters has many years of experience working within an insurance company environment. From policy processing, underwriting and claim operations, our team combines an understanding of your company’s expectations with Allied American’s ability to exceed them. Our adjusters are trained, experienced, graded and rated field adjusters who understand policies, building construction, scoping and estimating.
Allied American’s claims management team is constantly streamlining processes and workflows; and controls, tracks, and reports performance utilizing CIMS, our real-time web-based, paperless claim information management system.
At Allied American our daily claims staff can respond to Homeowner and Commercial Property and Casualty, Liability, Environmental, Inland and Ocean Marine, Products Liability, Business Interruption, Flood, FAIR and WIND Plan policies. Allied has a dedicated Flood Claim Unit, experienced in handling claims in a single adjuster environment and the intricacies of handling claims within the requirements of NFIP guidelines.
Catastrophic Event Claims
Allied American’s strength and history is in its nationwide catastrophe claims services, responding to Homeowner and Commercial Property, Business Interruption, Flood, FAIR and Wind Plan policies.
Allied American handles catastrophe claims throughout the United States. In 2004 and 2005, the Company handled over 35,000 hurricane claims for several insurance carriers. For Hurricanes Ike and Gustav, the Company provided adjusting services for about 5000 claims. The Company adjusted 1200 claims from Hurricane Irene. For Hurricane Sandy, our adjusters handled approximately 3500 losses in the northeast. Recently for Hurricane Matthew in 2016, Allied American adjusted over 5000 claims along the east coast of FL, GA, SC, and NC.
The Company’s Catastrophe claims roster of adjusters contains the names and information for about 3000 adjusters. Based on the Company’s most recent communication with these adjusters, approximately 1475 are available for a catastrophe. Allied American’s adjusters have an average of 10 to 15 years of experience. The Company’s management team has an average of 23 years of insurance experience.
We operate through the Team concept, with a Client Liaison and Storm Manager. In addition, we adhere to an Adjuster/Examiner/Team Lead ratio averaging of 10-1-1 depending on the nature and type of event. Our seasoned, professional staff brings years of claims and CAT management experience to every CAT operation. In addition, Our dedicated flood team is experienced in handling flood losses on a catastrophic scale.
To enhance our level of customer service, we have a mobile satellite communications trailer which provides the Allied American team with data and voice capability in areas of major devastation where infrastructure has been compromised.
