Allied American’s claims adjusting division, uses its own proprietary software application called CIMS (Claims Information Management System) to manage our day-to-day and catastrophe claims tracking activity. Every year we enhance this software program to include new features that are available to our adjusters; and are available to our customers who desire direct access to our system, in order to monitor their own claims activity. Additionally, our in-house corporate IT department and programmers in Tampa are always available to help service our software applications and equipment to ensure the highest quality services to our customers.
The CIMS application is fully encrypted and protected from catastrophic events interfering with continuous operations. The application servers are off-site and redundancy is captured in two additional and separate geographic locations.
CIMS is accessible anywhere in the world and provides streamlined claims processing and advanced real-time reporting capability. It is a comprehensive, state-of-the-art claims management solution that allows automated routing of claims to the appropriate adjuster based on claim-type, skills, location and workload.
Mobile Satellite Communications
Data and voice communications in a disaster area can be a challenge. With our desire to assist those in need, and with internet connectivity a must to create a speedy response. Allied American purchased a mobile satellite communications system to be used in service areas when communications are unstable or non-existent. This self-contained mobile trailer unit can be moved anywhere to provide full high-speed internet access and telephone service to our staff in the field to support our adjusters, clients and their agent’s and insured’s.
